CTP Systems Testa and dBbox2 Loader and device drivers.

First unzip the loader and device drivers to a convenient location.

Install the dBbox2 loader program by running 'setup.exe'. The loader will install to 'Programs'.
If you are asked if you want to replace system files/.dlls etc. the correct answer is always that you don't want to.
If you are using XP then this probably won't happen many times, with Vista, W7 or 8 it will happen more.

When the loader is installed connect your Testa via USB cable.
If you are asked for drivers they are located in the 'windows drivers' directory you downloaded. If you need 64 bit drivers they are located in the directory unsurprisingly called ’windows 64 bit drivers’.
In 90% of cases the drivers will install with no intervention.

Leave the Testa plugged into USB.

Now download the latest Testa firmware from the support page on our website. When downloaded run the dBbox2 loader program on your PC.
Select 'import update' and point it to your downloaded Testa firmware.

Then select 'send update to dBbox2’ and wait while the progress bar fills up. If the progress bar stalls just wait (unlikely) it will finish.

If for any reason the update fails wait 10 seconds and repeat the process.

Unplug your dBbox2 from the computer and after a few seconds switch on.
Check the software version has changed to the new version. If you have any problems with the new firmware please let us know so that we can rectify.
